Terms and privacy
The short version: the free plan is free, Pro is a one-time purchase, check your numbers before you cut, and CutLedger collects nothing about you.

Who you're buying from
CutLedger is made by Reckoner. Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt, and its own buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside these.
What you get
- The free plan needs no account and no payment, and there is nothing to cancel.
- Buying Pro gets you a license key. A lifetime key is Pro for the life of CutLedger, including updates to Pro. A 30-day pass is Pro for 30 days from purchase; it does not renew and is never charged again.
- A key can be active on up to three devices at once. Deactivating it on one frees that slot.
- A key is for you and your own devices, not for sharing or resale.

Check before you cut
CutLedger works out plans from the lengths, quantities, kerf and allowances you enter, and a plan is only as good as those numbers. Measure your stock, check the plan, and follow your tools' safety instructions before cutting. CutLedger is provided as it is, without any warranty that it suits a particular job, and Reckoner is not responsible for material that is miscut, wasted, or bought on the strength of a plan.
Privacy
- Your projects never leave your device. Every plan is calculated in your browser. A project lives in its own link and, if you save it, in this browser's storage. We have no copy.
- No account, no tracking. The app sets no cookies and sends no analytics.
- Activating a key sends the key and a short device label, such as "CutLedger on Windows", to Lemon Squeezy so it can check the key and count your devices. The app repeats that check when it's online.
- Buying Pro happens on Lemon Squeezy's checkout, which collects what it needs to take payment under its own privacy policy. We see your order and email address, and use them only to support your purchase.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers, like any web host's, may keep ordinary request logs.

These terms may be updated; the date above says when. A purchase is covered by the terms in place when it was made.
